Camp Excel: A Residential Camp on Leadership and Community Service, Bouznika, Morocco, from August 29 to September 06, 2015
In the framework of the project “Engaging Civil Society and Youth in Public Policy Dialogue in North Africa”, funded by the UNDEF, the Moroccan Center for Civic Education (MCCE) is offering scholarships to participate in a residential camp on leadership and community service in Bouznika, from August 29 to September 06, 2015.
Participants will be trained by two experts in leadership from the United States, Dr. Bert Whetstone, Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Certified School Psychologist and Deborah Moore Orsini, a veteran trainer and international lecturer. During the camp, the trainers will assist the participants to live together in a learning community and expose them to a variety of sports, language, music, and community service activities and discussing public policies ensuring rapid progress in the application of leadership principles within teams.

Eligibility: To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must
– be aged between 18-24 years old
– have good command of English.
– demonstrate good leadership, community service skills and civic engagement
– to be able to disseminate the experience of the camp

Deadline: August 20, 2015
The scholarship will cover the residential camp fees and supplies, accommodation, meals and refreshments during the period of the event starting from August 29 to September 06, 2015. While participants are required to cover the cost of their own ground transportation.
